Interim Presentation

For the interim presentation this week, I talked about everything that I had done throughout this semester: I spoke about my research and how those insights encouraged my design and prototyping phase. I also displayed my 100-word brief and my next stages. These slides can be seen at the bottom of this blog post.

The feedback I received was positively critical. I was asked to focus on my design a lot more and to further explore my preferred design language. I was also told to be more open to the creation of my products and what they could offer.

I definitely think, that this feedback was valid. I did realise, that I had been too caught on trying to figure out an appropriate manufacturing method, that I totally neglected my design focus. My aim for next year is to concentrate on my design and develop it to show my talent, skills and demonstrate what niche of design I want to head into after university.
